At approximately, 8.5 km, the Sport course is a beauty. Starting beachside, Most of the course is doubletrack with enough room to comfortably pass, while winding through the trees, surrounded by glorious green moss. There are plenty of rolling ups & downs to put those trail legs to the test with the longest climb leading to the waterfall just before the Aid Station at about half way. Then it’s down to the Alouette River and a fun rolling double track back to the beachside Start/ Finish!

The Enduro course is the same as the Sport course up to the short descent just after the Aid Station. When the Sport racers turn left, crossing the road towards the Alouette River, the Enduro racers turn right on a service road (approx 1.5 kms) out to the bottom of the Eric Dunning Trail , where you’ll crush your toughest climb of the day for just over a Kilometre. As soon as you reach the top, you will head down hill on a flowing grade to get a little bit of zip back into your legs! Pop back out on the service road and it’s a short run back to the aid station. Time to refill and join back onto the Sport Course alongside the Alouette River on rolling double track back to the beachside Start/Finish area!

With a distance of ~ 19.5km, the GRIT course offers an additional 5km loop of new trail with a modest 155m of vertical gain that loops runners back into the Enduro course and o to the collective home stretch for all distances via the Alouette Lake Trail.
