Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area, Milton, Ontario ~ Touted as perhaps the most technical of the Ontario courses, Rattlesnake has continually been a favourite. Situated along the Niagara Escarpment, runners are treated to the shade hardwood forests and some incredible single track. Same routes as 2008!

From Highway 401, take Highway 25 south to Steeles Avenue, west on Steeles to Appleby Line, south on Appleby for 3 km.
From Q.E.W., take Appleby Line north; 1 km. north of Derry Road on top of escarpment.

| Terrain: |
A wide variety of groomed screenings where athletes can pass, spread out and warm up to some intense single-track, rocky limestone, boardwalk through swampy section, grassy sections, and a burning vertical back up the escarpment before the final stretch toward the finish line. |

| First Aid & Water Stations: |
2 Water/Aid Stations(1 at start / finish area, and 1mid way through course). First Aid attendants at the Start/Finish area, at aid station and throughout course with radio communication. Course sweep will travel behind last racer. |

In the interest of racer safety and because of the size of our attendance and the technicality of our course, it’s dangerous! NONE OF THESE THINGS BELONG ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE.

| Awards/Prizes: |
Awards ceremony will be held following completion of all competitors. (Approximately 11:00am). Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category in all distances, as well as top three male and female finishers overall.
All awards must be picked up at the race and will not be mailed. |
