Location: Durham Regional Forest - located in Uxbridge, just north of Pickering is comprised of plantation forests established over 70 years ago, as well as mixed hardwood areas. The 12 km of marked trails encompasses a 405 hectare area which is located at the top of the Oak Ridges Moraine, and is renowned for its excellent hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing.

Exit (399) Brock Road North in Pickering
Continue north ~23.5 km to Coppins Corners
East on Goodwood Road / Durham Regional Road 21 for ~4 km
South on Uxbridge Concession #7 for 750 m
Main Entrance to Durham Regional Forest is on the east side of road.

Proceed east ~16.5 km to Goodwood
Keep right onto Durham Regional Road 21

8:00 AM -Registration / Packet Pickup for the Children’s Challenge, Sport and Enduro
9:30 AM -Start of the Children’s Challenge 1K and any participants planning to walk the Sport or Enduro course.
9:45 AM -Exhale Warm Up, Sport & Enduro Pre-Race Briefing
9:55 AM -Elite Self Seeding Line up at Start Line
10:00 AM -Start of both the Sport & Enduro race
10:15 AM -Post race food & beverage available in race compound
11:00 AM -Sport Awards Ceremony
11:30 AM -Enduro Awards Ceremony

Terrain: All on existing mtn biking terrain. Mostly single track, some double…some of it easy, some of it tough. Sharp drop offs, harsh climbs, slow, winding technical. Sure to be rated one of the best runs this year.
Elevation Gain: Sport Course: 90m
Enduro Course: 240 m
First Aid & Water Stations: 2 Water/Aid Stations(1 at start / finish area, and 1mid way through course). First Aid attendants at the Start/Finish area, at aid station and throughout course with radio communication. Course sweep will travel behind last racer.
Washrooms: At Start/Finish area
Parking: Plenty of parking in LaFarge Canada plant, located 100 metres from the main entrance of the Durham Forest off Concession 7.
Important Notes: In the interest of racer safety and because of the size of our attendance and the technicality of our course, it’s dangerous! NONE OF THESE THINGS BELONG ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE.
-No dogs
-No headphones
-No strollers or baby joggers
-No nordic walking poles
Spectators: Spectators are welcome: best viewing from Start/Finish area.
Awards/Prizes: Awards ceremony will be held following completion of all competitors. (Approximately 12:00pm). Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category in all distances, as well as top three male and female finishers overall.
All awards must be picked up at the race and will not be mailed.
